Normalize line breaks

org.openrewrite.java.format.NormalizeLineBreaks

Consistently use either Windows style (CRLF) or Linux style (LF) line breaks. If no GeneralFormatStyle is specified this will use whichever style of line endings are more common.

Usage

This recipe has no required configuration parameters and comes from a rewrite core library. It can be activated directly without adding any dependencies.

  1. Add the following to your build.gradle file:

    id("org.openrewrite.rewrite") version("6.11.2")
}

rewrite {
    activeRecipe("org.openrewrite.java.format.NormalizeLineBreaks")
}

repositories {
    mavenCentral()
}
  1. Run gradle rewriteRun to run the recipe.
